Very nice, in centre of small town, lovely to walk out to find several places to eat. Big, clean, quiet room. Lovely reception staff. |

My wife and I stayed at this parador September 2014. its Strange there are 2 paradors next to each other in a preserved, almost medieval village. The Parador we stayed in was the one with the car park. Rooms were spacious, although there was no Air conditioning. The breakfast was a feast of choices (excellent). Customer at reception service was excellent, with very dedicated staff. The town is a great base for visits to the coast, caves and small inland villages plus Santander (13 miles away). (PS free parking at the top of the village near the camp site) |

May 28th 2014 We enjoyed our stay, the reception was very good and the room was an excellent size, there was all that you could need in the bathroom to enjoy a lazy bath. The village was beautiful, hotel excellant, would stay there again. |

Warm reception on arrival and the bilingual staff are happy to let you practice your Spanish and help out as required. The bedroom was spacious especially as I had my wheelchair. The location is not wheelchair friendly if you are wheelchair bound however I can walk a little and it is manageable with a few stairs inside. The cobbled streets and forecourt are not suited to wheelchairs as it is a very bumpy ride. An excellent location. We ate Dinner in the Gil Bas Parador across the square which had several sets of steps to negotiate as there were no ramps but all staff were very helpful and tried to assist. Our stay was only for one night but the town and museum looked very interesting and I know we will return one day. Thankyou |
